Pomegranate
Animating poetry through visual abstraction
Inspired by Kim Myeong-Sun’s Pomegranate poem. This visual representation explores the concept of the passing of time all while “Life Merely Flows”.
The animation was crafted using a combination of hand-drawn animation at 12 frames per second and motion paths in After Effects. Sound effects and voice-over help elevate and bring the poem to life.
